Saint Vincent's is committed to the highest standards in serving students who are in need of a highly structured, therapeutic educational setting. All of the students within the Department of Education approved Therapeutic Day School program attend the Fall River on-campus school, which is organized around elementary, middle and high school curricula. Classrooms are self-contained and individualized educational planning results in identified students participating in course material at an appropriate grade level. All Curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Education Frameworks with an emphasis on core subjects. In addition, all students are prepared to take the competency tests prescribed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to qualify for receipt of a high school diploma. Older students may participate in an array of vocational and career education experiences, facilitated by the Transitional Specialist. Individualized, strength-based care is focused on returning students to less restrictive academic settings appropriate to their needs as quickly and as safely as possible.
