Special Education Teacher

Seeking a leader responsible for instruction in a small self-contained classroom serving students who are emotionally, behaviorally and learning disabled. The ability to teach all core subject areas and familiarity with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks is a must. We seek culturally competent, strengths-oriented personnel who possess an understanding of our communities served. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Candidates must be licensed as an Educator of Students with Moderate Disabilities Pre-K–8/Grades 5–12 or licensed in a specific content area with a willingness to obtain special educator licensure.

Temporary Special Education Assistants

Assist Special Education Teachers in small self-contained classrooms of children or adolescents with behavioral and emotional disorders. Work directly with students providing positive reinforcement, teaching daily living and social skills. Excellent training opportunities and competitive salary/benefits. Associates or Bachelor's degree or 48 credit hours of higher education preferred due to the nature of this position. Previous experience with children/adolescents preferred.

Temporary Special Education Teacher

The hours are Mon. through Fri. 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Candidates must be licensed as an Educator of Students with Moderate Disabilities Pre-K–8/Grades 5–12 or licensed in a specific content area with a willingness to obtain special educator licensure. We seek culturally competent, strengths-oriented personnel who possess an understanding of our communities served.
