Behavioral Treatment Residence (BTR)

Saint Vincent's Behavioral Treatment Residence (BTR) program provides both campus-based and community-based settings, which provide staff secure treatment for children and youth with serious emotional, developmental, cognitive and behavioral disorders who do not require an educational placement in an on-site school. Children and youth residing in Saint Vincent's BTR attend community public schools or special education programs. Most of these children and youth are eligible for special education services and education is provided within the community in compliance with an Individualized Educational Plan.

The Behavioral Treatment Residence program includes:

Therapeutic, age appropriate staff-secure residential care
Educational Advocacy
Case Management
Clinical Services, including individual, family and group therapy
Psychiatric Services, including Psychopharmacology
Health care/Medical Services
Transitional Services
Adventure Based Counseling
Recreation
