Saint Vincent's to Acknowledge Employee Tenure

Saint Vincent’s values employees and is committed to fostering a positive and caring work environment.  To that end, Saint Vincent’s publicly rewards loyalty and tenure through a Staff Tenure Ceremony.  Four years ago, the organization began hosting the celebration in the fall to acknowledge staff reaching various five-year employment milestones.

At the Staff Tenure Ceremony being held on November 4, 2009 at 5:00 p.m., 29 employees will be honored for their years of service at Saint Vincent’s.  Fourteen employees are celebrating five-year milestones, twelve employees have reached ten-year milestones, one employee has reached the 15-year milestone, and two employees have reached their 20th-year anniversaries at Saint Vincent’s.  During their anniversary month, each recipient receives a monetary gift based on their years of service along with a letter thanking them for their dedication and commitment to the organization.  At the Staff Tenure Ceremony, the recipients receive a plaque engraved with their name and years of service.  A book of testimonials summarizing each person’s contributions is composed and shared with all honorees and guests.  The Staff Tenure Ceremony is a reflective and inspirational tribute to these individuals who have made a significant commitment to the organization.
