World Premier Band to Entertain at Summer Celebration

Saint Vincent’s 3rd Annual Kick-Off To Summer Celebration on Friday, June 24th from 6PM to 11PM on the deck of the Battleship Massachusetts in Fall River features entertainment by the World Premier Band.  The World Premier Band incorporates musicians with endless imaginations seeding the music of the 90’s and today with classic R&B Motown, funk, dance and World Premier Band originals.  The entertainment is made possible by a sponsorship from East Commerce Solutions, Inc.

The band is made up of five truly talented musicians with multiple backgrounds that come together and create a sound no jam session could ever produce.  They have entertained audiences at venues such as Las Vegas and Mohegan Sun, and have toured in Canada, Europe, Asia and Japan, but call the greater Boston area home.

The evening celebration, expected to draw over 300 people, is back by popular demand thanks to Presenting Sponsor, Mechanics Cooperative Bank.  Guests will enjoy plenty of food, drinks, and dancing all the while raising funds to benefit the youth in Saint Vincent’s Life Skills Program who are transitioning to independent living and young adulthood.

The “un-official” start of the summer months will feature complimentary beer and wine provided by Quality Beverage and the Coastal Wine Trail, a clam and oyster raw bar from Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farms, Inc. featuring Cuttyhunk Oysters® and Cuttyhunk Clams, meat and spinach pies provided by Mario’s Lebanese Bakery, and clam chowder by Blount Fine Foods.  A gourmet dinner will feature food stations from Ma Raffa’s, Mesa 21, T.A. Restaurant, Trio Café and Lounge, Lafrance Hospitality, and the Waterfront Grille in New Bedford.  A dessert station will include coffee from Green Mountain Coffee and pastries by M.S. Catering and Stop & Shop Bakery.
