Saint Vincent's Acknowledges Employee Tenure

Saint Vincent’s held its annual Staff Tenure Celebration in early November to honor 39 employees for their years of service at Saint Vincent’s.  The annual celebration held each fall acknowledges staff reaching various five-year incremental employment milestones.  Seventeen employees reached five-year milestones, twelve employees reached ten-year milestones, three employees reached fifteen-year milestones, four employees reached twentieth-year anniversaries, two employees reached their twenty-fifth year anniversary, and one employee reached his thirtieth anniversary at Saint Vincent’s.  During their anniversary month, each recipient receives a monetary gift based on their years of service along with a letter thanking them for their dedication and commitment to the organization’s Mission of Giving Children and Families in Need What They Need Most.

At the Staff Tenure Celebration, Saint Vincent’s Executive Director, Jack Weldon, presented each recipient with an award engraved with their name and years of service.  In his remarks, Mr. Weldon stated, “The number of people being recognized today for significant tenure with Saint Vincent’s is a testament to the dedication and commitment by our staff to the children, youth and families in our care.”  A book consisting of testimonials summarizing each employee was shared with all honorees and guests.  Mr. Weldon thanked the recipients for choosing to be part of the Saint Vincent’s team and for contributing to the fulfillment of Saint Vincent’s Mission.  The Staff Tenure Celebration is an inspirational tribute to those individuals who have made a significant commitment to Saint Vincent’s.

Saint Vincent’s Staff Tenure Planning Committee coordinated the “Mardi Gras” style event, complete with balloons, festive decorations and food.  Employee recipients, their family, friends, and colleagues honored the 39 recipients for their years of service at Saint Vincent’s.
