Saint Vincent's Children Benefit from Generosity of Others

The children, youth, and families of Saint Vincent’s enjoyed the Holiday Season because of the kindness and generosity of community-minded individuals and corporations. A big THANK YOU goes out to all who helped make the season special for the 150 children, their siblings, and families who receive services from Saint Vincent’s. Over the past two months, volunteers and donors – corporations, individuals, community groups, parishes, and Saint Vincent De Paul Societies – made the children’s Holiday Wishes come true by donating new games, toys, and clothing - every item that was on each child’s Wish List. The kindness and generosity of others during the Holiday Season gave each child a sense of caring and belonging and instilled in them much-needed hope for a brighter future.
Holiday gifts as well as financial contributions in support of youth-related activities and programs were generously donated. Gifts of board games, puzzles, dolls, toys, clothing, and monetary donations from many kind-hearted people made the season extra-special for the children and their families who find it particularly difficult during the holidays. Saint Vincent’s is grateful for the kindness, generosity, and sharing of goodwill, all contributing to its Legacy of Hope… for the children, youth and families in our care.
