Dear Friend,

Hope.  Isn’t it striking how one simple, yet powerful word can encompass so much of what Saint Vincent’s is all about?

Hope.  In a word, it is the foundation upon which our goals and Mission are built.

You have the ability to bring hope for the future to the hundreds of children, youth, and families we serve by sending your generous annual donation.  I urge you to think about the children in need of hope…

• Your annual gift of $50 will provide five children – some of whom have no home… many of whom have no parents – with one hour of remedial support with math or English language skills.

… $100 will provide them with two hours of remedial support.

… $1,500 will provide remedial support for an entire school semester.

• Your annual gift of $250 will give a youngster striving to learn how to get along with their peers mentoring sessions for six weeks.

• Your annual gift of $500 will provide older youth with activities focused on learning how to manage personal finances, guidance in finding employment, and support in planning and preparing nutritional meals.

… $1,000 will help prepare them to live independently, when returning to a family is
     not an option.

Hope.  It changes children’s lives.  You can change children’s lives and instill hope.
